Author Biography
Ann Lane is a nurse practitioner with over 20 years experience working with young children with special needs. She has also traveled extensively, riding horses in many countries, including trips to Iceland, Ireland and Costa Rica. She traveled to Jamaica and rural areas of the United States to research and write in the field of medical anthropology, investigating local beliefs and even the practice of voodoo. She loves sharing her love of nature and culture as seen through the eyes of her adventurous friend, Wild Emm. Ann lives on a farm in central Florida with her husband and a variety of animals.
