Wild Ride began as a project for the Humour Academy, a three year course. The ideas for this book was to collect stories from women about any event or stage of their life. Without filters for age, topic or writing the expedrience, it captures the authentic voice of each woman. In addition, each "author" provides a piece of advice they would give to their younger self. The book is divided into four sections: The Value of a Story, Emotions and Memory, Gratitude and Love Remembered...the latter being an opportunity for family to share a story about their loved one. All women's stories were welcome.

Author Biography

Kathy Klaus is a lover of stories--everyday anecdotes, travel escapades and finding the funny wherever it lives. With the heart of a social worker and the spirit of an entrepreneur, she treasures connection and strives for innovation. She is energized by the delight of bright-eyed children, smiling Golden Retrievers and every moment that she can devote to salmon fishing.
A proud Canadian, Kathy lives in Alberta with her husband and looks forward to visits in New York to throw paint at a wall or share whatever madcap activity that surrounds her family there.
