Roberta Gordenstein is an associate professor of Spanish at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

Her translations include Beloved Angels by Spanish poet Luz-Maria Jimenez and stories in the anthologies The House of Memory and Miriam's Daughters. Marjorie Agosin is a poet, writer and human rights activist. She is also a professor of Spanish at Wellesley College and editor of our Secret Weavers Series. Isabel Allende is a well known writer of fiction and nonfiction.
