Women served in the Army: Nurses, yes, but also the enlisted women in the Women's Army Corps: an all-volunteer force that proved that All Volunteer Military was possible, and viable.
Author Biography
Amanda Oviatt served in the US Army Signal corps from 1998-2002. She served in Darmstadt, Germany and Ft Bliss, Texas. Her interest in Women's studies emerged in her pursuit of a degree in History.
