Women Who Met The Master: Sixteen Encounters with Jesus - Paperback

by Allen Wright (Author)

The New Testament records a number of women whose lives were changed by their encounter with Jesus. Women Who Met the Master explores the emotions, thoughts and questions of these women who were forever changed by the Messiah. Mary, who stored up "these things in her heart," a woman who went to draw water from a well and left with far more, an insulted Syrophoenician woman desperate for help, are just some of the women covered in sixteen chapters presented in chronological order. A compelling retelling of the Biblical story, while remaining true to the gospel story, this book also has a study guide that lists all the Scriptures from which the story is taken, a historical background, thoughts to consider along with a series of questions designed to take the reader from the story into a deeper study of the Biblical text. Women Who Met The Master will transport the reader back into the time of Christ and into the sandals of the women who first met the Master. As they were changed, so should the reader be.
