X-tra Special Me is written through the eyes of a young boy with Klinefelter Syndrome. The book serves as an introduction to this genetic condition by highlighting the positive traits found in boys born with an extra X chromosome, which is also known as 47XXY. X-tra Special Me is a vehicle through which parents of little boys with Klinefelter Syndrome can foster positive self-concepts in their sons by celebrating everything that makes them unique and special.

All net proceeds from this project will be donated to Living with XXY, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about Klinefelter Syndrome by sharing the success stories of males around the world who were born with an extra X chromosome.
