Derrick Fennell was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Wilmington N.C. by his Grandparents who owned and operated a flower shop for over sixty years. His Grandparents were Leaders in the community and taught him the gift of leadership, social responsibility and the importance of community. His Grandparents laid the founding belief and instilled the confidence that as individuals we are the creators of our own destiny.
