Mehboob Qureshi spent the first twenty three years of his life in Zanzibar. During the early fifties, he went to Nairobi, Kenya, to acquirer his Teachers' Diploma and then returned to Zanzibar to teach at The Sir Euan Smith Madresah. In 1957 he went to The Royal College Of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He came to the USA in 1963 and did his Internship and three years of residency in Internal Medicine After fifty years of practicing and teaching Medicine, most of it in Wisconsin. In 2013 his family coerced him into retirement.. Since then he has had time for his wife, four children, and six grandchildren and resume his long suppressed passion for writing. This book is memories made in Zanzibar between 1934 and 1957
