Chinese painter Zhao Gang (born 1961) was the youngest member of legendary avant-garde artist group The Stars, alongside Ai Weiwei. He makes figurative paintings that examine his personal history as well as the historical roots of contemporary China. This monograph provides an overview of his recent exhibitions.
